Dr. Christina Binag of the University of Santo Thomas (UST) Research Centre for Natural and Applied Science in the Philipines conducted a survey for the use of (VCO) in 110 participants. They took three tablespoons of VCO every day for four months while 79 others took a placebo drug for the same period.
